Shop for special Father’s Day Gifts

Each year, the day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June to recognise the contribution that fathers and father figures make to the lives of their children.

This year, Father’s Day is being celebrated around the world on June 19, and Googlehas created a special doodle to mark the occasion. Working on a similar theme as its Mother’s Day doodle, this time the designers have shown the image of a pair of dad’s shoes on a rug with the word Google on it, accompanied with a pair of kiddie shoes that probably indicate how we, as kids, follow our dad’s footsteps so closely.

This year’s Father’s Day Google doodle is visible in the US, UK, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, France, Czech Republic, Turkey, Greece, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, the Philippines, Japan and, of course, India.
